Dan Heng is one of the current rerun units in Honkai: Star Rail during the elongated 3.8 phase three update. 💪 Dan Heng’s Strengths & Weaknesses
Dan Heng is a 4-star Hunt and Wind based unit that specializes in dealing single-target damage. This makes him lethal against enemies who are weak to the Wind element and even some Elite bosses. Despite only being able to do single-target attacks, he can do more damage when paired with teammates that can slow enemies down. As a single-target unit though, unless you build a team around his abilities, he can struggle a lot later on. He struggles the most against enemies and especially bosses who can summon more around them. Dan Heng lacks a lot of AOE moves in his kit, so having him as the only DPS will make progressing in battle harder. You can also remedy this by having another DPS on your team but just make sure you have room for Supports too.

As mentioned prior, Dan Heng’s single-targeting reliance is best fit with teams that can slow enemies down, and there’s a Relic that actually boosts this! His best Relic will give Dan Heng’s attacks more damage when enemies are slowed along with an extra boost to his base Attack and Critical damage stats. Other good Relics can increase his Wind and base damage too as necessary for a Main DPS.
